Stress / Burnout

Stress is a natural reaction to extreme circumstances. Experiencing stress for a longer period of time is harmful to your health and can lead to burnout eventually. Being under stress constantly can happen when we try to fulfill our ambitions and we want to accomplish things. In these difficult times, where many people try to work at home with there children around, while most of their fun and relaxing activities are not available either. Therefor the risk of getting a burnout increases.

Physical complaints

Stress often leads to physical complaints. We tend to ignore these problems or try to suppress them, because they’re annoying and we don’t have time for that. Chronic physical issues can be a sign we’re too stressed. It is important to listen to your body and try to find out what it’s trying to tell you. Another important indicator that someone has been under pressure for too long (and may be heading towards a burnout) is when they are unable to relax, even when they should have a moment to do so.

How I can help

To prevent burnout or to recover from is, it is important to reduce stress as quickly as possible. Vitaal-Welzijn can help you with that. We offer a combination of therapy and massage which is highly effective for stress reduction. In the therapy we explore what motivates someone to be overachieving and ignore their boundaries. We seek for alternatives and ways to recharge so you can get your energy back up. During the massage you’ll learn to feel your body again. You will relax thoroughly and your head will have a (well deserved) rest.

Do you feel you are under a lot of pressure and you are at risk of a burnout? Don’t wait too long with seeking help. The exhausted you get, the longer it will take you to recover! You can book a free introductory meeting/intake below or contact me for more information.
